Ontario International Airport Authority Selects Hagman as NEW Vice President
Ontario, CA - Supervisor Curt Hagman was unanimously selected, by the board members present, to serve as Ontario Airport Authority's (OIAA) Vice President.
As Vice President, Hagman will continue to plan an active role in driving the growth and success of Ontario International Airport (ONT), one of Souther California's premier aviation hubs and the fastest growing airport in the United States. Hagman's efforts will include advancing key initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger experience, fostering airline partnerships, and promoting economic development in the region.
"It is a tremendous honor to be selected by my colleagues to serve as Vice President," stated Hagman. "Ontario International Airport is a jewel and an economic engine for the Inland Empire. The airport serves as a symbol of opportunity for residents and businesses. I look forward to building on its success with our incredible management team," he concluded.
Supervisor Hagman played a pivotal role in the return of Ontario Airport to local control, working behind the scenes to reinitiate serious dialogue between LAWA (Los Angeles World Airports) and OIAA (Ontario International Airport Authority) - efforts that led to the settlement agreement in 2015. He has served on the commission since his election to the Board of Supervisors in 2014.
The OIAA was formed in August 2012 by a Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Ontario and the County of San Bernardino to provide overall direction for the management, operations, development and marketing of ONT for the benefit of the Southern California economy and the residents of the airport's four-county catchment area.
