 The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a proclamation declaring each April through 2029 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in San Bernardino County.
National Weather Service visits San Bernardino County Public Works
 Preparing for and responding to natural disasters in San Bernardino County has made the National Weather Service (NWS) an increasingly valuable partner in the county’s efforts to keep residents prepared and safe.
Special Districts celebrates Kessler Park project ribbon cutting
 On Friday, March 8, the Bloomington community came together for a historic night—the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Kessler Park Revitalization Project and the opening ceremony of the Bloomington Little League Baseball season.
Operation Consequences: March 2 through March 8
 Between March 2 and March 8, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Gangs/Narcotics Division, along with deputies from patrol stations, served 12 search warrants and contacted suspects at various locations in Ontario, Yucca Valley, San Bernardino and Desert Hot Springs.
County Graphics Design Team honored for innovative, engaging messaging
 A great message is lost without an audience. The efforts of San Bernardino County’s Graphic Design Team to engage county residents in messaging promoting disaster preparedness, wellness, voting, economic development, preschool education and the opportunities available in America’s largest county claimed six American Advertising Federation (AAF) awards last week.
Fatherhood Summit raises awareness of the unique role of fathers
 A Fatherhood Summit organized by Children’s Network’s Inland Empire Fatherhood Involvement Coalition attracted an array of fathers to Clement Middle School in Redlands on Saturday, March 9. The event showcased the collective efforts of various county departments and community vendors committed to servicing fathers and their families.

March is Women's History Month and the women leaders of Children and Family Services (CFS), Preschool Services Department (PSD) and the Department of Aging and Adult Services – Public Guardian (DAAS-PG) take a moment to reflect on the invaluable contributions of their leadership and those that came before them in San Bernardino County Human Services.
