Ontario International Airport (ONT) passenger volume increased by more than 12% in November and 11% over the first 11 months of the year, airport authority officials announced.
Ontario International Airport welcomed 575,877 passengers in November, an increase of 12.4% compared with the same month last year. The total included 535,507 domestic and 40,370 international travelers, increases of 8.9%, respectively.
More than 500 businesses and regional leaders gathered Wednesday, November 1, to celebrate one of the aviation industry's great success stories as Ontario International Airport (ONT) hosted its annual State of the Airport event.
Serving one of the most dynamic population and economic centers in the United States, ONT will serve more than 6 million passengers this year, its highest annual total since 2008 - years before the airport's return to local ownership in 2016. Its growth has earned it the title of fastest-growing airport in the U.S. five years running from Global Traveler magazine and has helped ONT land more than $88 million in state and federal grants in recent years to enhance the airport's safety, security and convenience.

"I encourage all property owners to visit our website to learn about the numerous tax savings programs offered by our office", said Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Chris Wilhite. Although the Assessor's office does not include property taxes, they do administer property tax savings programs including a homeowners' exemption, disabled veteran's exemption and several programs for certain non-profit agency activities. A homeowner's exemption is a tax provision, providing a $7,000 reduction in your primary residence taxable home value. The disabled veteran's exemption is granted to those veterans or their unmarried surviving spouses who own and occupy a home as their principal place of residence and who have been rated 100% disabled due to a service-connected disability by the Veterans Administration. To learn more about these tax savings programs and others, please visit: arc.sbcounty.gov/tax-savings.
The Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk department can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at (855) 732-2575.
