Dear Friends and Families of the Fifth District,
As the holiday season arrives, it's time to reflect on the amazing journey we've shared this year. We're filled with pride and gratitude for what we've achieved together. Our community has grown stronger, and it's all thanks to your support and involvement.
This year has been a landmark one for us, marked by significant achievements that have positively impacted our community. From enhancing our local parks, to supporting our police, firefighters, and our first responders. We have improved our roads, invested in our schools, supported our local groups, faith based organizations, and non-profits. Every step we have taken is about making our community better for everyone!
Your support fuels our progress. As we step into 2024, we are committed to keep the momentum going, creating more positive impacts in every corner of our community. Together, we’re not just dreaming of a brighter future; we’re building it, hand in hand.
- Joe

Thank you to our community who came out and help us spread joy to the Fifth District. We distributed collected toys to preschools, churches, non profits and children who are in need. This is what we can do together!
We recently had the pleasure of delivering checks to our local school baseball teams. We we're grateful to give back and support our young athletes. Seeing the excitement and gratitude from the teams was truly rewarding. This is just one of the ways we're working to make a positive impact in our community, and we're proud to be a part of helping these teams achieve their best. A big shout-out to the students, coaches, and schools for their dedication to sports and teamwork!
"The safety and well-being of our communities is a top priority," said Supervisor Baca, Jr. "This investment in the Rialto Fire Department highlights our commitment to ensuring that our first responders have the best tools and equipment at their disposal to handle emergencies effectively."
-Fifth District County Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr.
“Investing in the well-being of our youth is an investment in the future of our community,” Supervisor Baca said. “We are proud to support SBCUSD in their efforts to provide resources for our student's mental health and wellness. This initiative marks a partnership between the county and district to establish a wellness center at a school site in our region. The wellness center at Indian Springs High and the added lighting at Paakuma K-8 School will play an important role in creating a nurturing environment for our students, setting a precedent for similar collaborations in the future.”
