The San Bernardino County Homeless Partnership, in collaboration with the county's Office of Homeless Services, hosted the 13th Annual Homeless Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 8, to discuss priorities for addressing homelessness in the county and to highlight key successes during the previous year.

Voter education is coming to your hometown! The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters (ROV) this week held an event to debut its first-ever traveling voter education vehicle: The BallotMobile. Registrar of Voters Stephenie Shea unveiled the BallotMobile in front of the ROV office in San Bernardino and talked about the importance of voter education efforts throughout the county.
Board actions: Nov. 14, 2023
The Board of Supervisors got a jump on winter by unanimously approving the purchase of eight pieces of heavy snow-removal equipment.
The action provides the County Department of Public Works with $2.5 million to fund the purchase of up to four Large Front Loaders and four Skid Steer Snow Blowers with attachments to serve the Rim Communities, Angelus Oaks, and Forest Falls. The equipment will allow the county to immediately respond to natural disasters such as wildfires, earthquakes, flooding, mudslides, and excessive snow.
Subaru Loves Pets Campaign finds homes for 300+ furry friends
During the month of October, our Animal Care program collaborated with Subaru of San Bernardino for the Subaru Loves Pets Campaign. With a mission that all pets deserve loving homes, we were able to connect over 300 pets with their forever homes.
San Bernardino Probation awarded grant to supervise high risk DUI offenders
The San Bernardino County Probation Department received funds for an intensive probation supervision program for high-risk DUI offenders with multiple DUI convictions.
The $645,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), approved by the Board of Supervisors, will go toward additional proactive home contacts with probationers to make sure they are following court-ordered terms of their probation and prevent probationers from re-offending.
