 Supervisor Baca, Jr. Hosts Second College and Career Day Event
 Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. hosted his second College and Career Day event for 300 high school juniors and seniors from San Bernardino City Unified School District and Rialto School District. The event took place at San Bernardino Valley College and was meant to assist our current high school students to explore their opportunities after graduation. Over twenty community partners had both informative and interactive booths for students to engage with. The students were taught how to create a strong resume, a technology presentation by Amazon, and explore various job opportunities with County Fire, Law enforcement, EMT departments and dozens of other workforce departments and post-secondary educational opportunities.

I-10 Cedar Avenue Interchange Improvement Project - Award Construction Contract The Board, acting as the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority: A. Award Construction Contract No. 22-1002784 for the Interstate 10 Cedar Avenue Interchange Improvement (Project) to Security Paving Company, Inc. in an amount not-to-exceed $74,146,595. B. Approve an Allowances/Contingency amount of $8,098,400, comprised of a contingency amount of $7,414,660 and supplemental work costs at $683,740 |
Board Of Supervisors Agenda
 Funding towards the City of Colton's Avenue Class I Bike Path and Trail Improvement Project as Elizabeth David Park Improvements has been approved. The approval was in response to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Subrecipient Contracts.
