In honor of National Recovery Month, Supervisor Baca, Jr. teamed up with San Bernardino County's Department of Behavioral Health for their 'Recovery Happens" event that promotes behavioral health wellness while celebrating National Recovery Month. This is for individuals in recovery and for all those affected by recovery and addiction.

Arrowhead Medical Center has partnered with the Southland Farmers Market association to bring the ARMC Farmers Market to Colton every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. |
Glen Helen Regional Park has two lakes and year-round fishing. The Park stocks trout from November to April and Catfish from May to September.
 The Park Advisory Commission will take place on September 14, 2022, at the Airport Conference Room located at 777 E. Rialto Ave, San Bernardino CA from 2:30pm – 3:30pm.

 Children's Fund First Annual Family Fair Flier
Children's Fund is holding our 1st Annual Family Fair on Saturday, September 24th, at Cal State San Bernardino! We will be offering resources and information on employment opportunities, food resources, and housing. Preschool Services Backpack Giveaway
 On August 29th, 2022 Supervisor Baca, Jr. and his staff visited four different Preschool Services sites: Rialto Renaissance, Colton-Bloomington, Baker Family Learning Center, and San Bernardino Parks & Recs preschools. At each site, Supervisor donated backpacks full of goodies, such as children's books and school supplies for the year ahead.

On September 1st, the San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board hosted a Hiring Event in the Inland Center Mall. The event was attended by over 300 local job seekers and 42 businesses, including stores located in the mall hiring for retail employees.
