NEW AYALA PARK GRAND OPENING
LOCATION CHANGE FOR MUNICIPAL ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETINGS
Glen Helen Regional Park has two lakes and year-round fishing. The Park stocks trout from November to April and Catfish from May to September. Catfish season began in May 2022. Glen Helen will receive 575 lbs. per week on Thursdays through September 1, 2022.
Fishing permits could be purchased at the park entrance
- Mon-Wed Daily Permits: $10/person, all ages
- Thurs-Sun Daily Permits: $12/person, all ages

On June 19th, 2022 our County celebrated and recognized Juneteenth as a county holiday. We are not free until everyone is. Thank you to the Juneteenth Committee President and Vice President for hosting such a lovely Juneteenth Event at the San Bernardino Valley College on June 18th, 2022.

  At the 6-22-22 San Bernardino International Airport Authority (SBIAA) Meeting, the Commission ratified a media contract with Wasserman Media for live music entertainment for the July 23, 2022, air service launch event for the community.
The headlining band, SHAED is an alternative music group who will be launching additional tour dates after performing at SBD in July.

Press Release: March 8, 2022 – San Bernardino, CA – SBD International Airport (SBD) marked a major milestone in its 80-year history today as Breeze Airways’ Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs Eric Fletcher announced daily nonstop service between SBD and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), beginning August 4, 2022, and marking SBD’s first-ever scheduled passenger flights. Fletcher and airport leaders were joined at the public announcement by elected officials, airport staff and business representatives. Fletcher’s announcement included that fares as low as $49 one way are now on sale at www.flybreeze.com and the Breeze app.
 They are at 2 permanent locations Mondays and Wednesdays, and they're open to everyone.
Includes: showers, full bathrooms, laundry, dryers, clothing assistance, and linkage to social services as needed.

 San Bernardino County unveiled a memorial named the “Curtain of Courage” in honor and remembrance of the victims of the December 2, 2015 shooting here in San Bernardino. We will never forget our county workers who’s lives were tragically stolen that day. #SBStrong

A traffic signal at Slover Ave and Linden Ave was finally added! This new improvement and signal will improve traffic circulation and safety for our residents. This intersection experiences upwards of 16,000 vehicles per day, so the addition of this signal will really make a difference for the quality of life for our entire community. Thank you to San Bernardino County's Department of Pubic Works for your hard work and dedication to this project and helping us make this happen!
 Great News! The Rialto Metro South Housing Project is currently under construction! We are so excited for this housing project to be completed by Spring of 2023. This housing project is apart of our campaign "Shelter the Fifth," which is our commitment towards housing and sheltering those in our Fifth District. We look forward to seeing this project completed soon.

 On June 30th, 2022 we celebrated the Groudbreaking Ceremony for the Chandi Project right here in Bloomington! This project has been in the works for some time now and is going to be home to a convenience store, a Del Taco, and a Jack in the Box restaurant. The project is a long time coming and we are looking forward to creating this right here for those in our community to enjoy.
