In honor of your COVID cleanouts, San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman, in partnership with the Ontario Police Department will be hosting a free document shredding event for all San Bernardino County residents.

The event will be on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. or until the truck is full, at the Ontario Police Department, located at 2500 Archibald Avenue, located in Ontario.

Please note, face masks/coverings are required.

  • Documents will be shredded on-site
  • Limit of 3 standard filing boxes per vehicle
  • No CD's, DVD's, binders, plastics, x-rays, etc.
  • Receive tips from law enforcement on how to protect your identity

Upcoming Webinars Address Workplace Harassment, Expansion

San Bernardino County in conjunction with other partners both regionally and throughout the state are pleased to bring business owners and interested residents ongoing webinars on a variety of important topics. Harassment Protection for Employees

This course is designed to raise awareness about workplace harassment and discrimination, and reduce or prevent incidents of misconduct. As of January 21, 2021, California businesses with five or more employees MUST provide harassment prevention training every two years. The helps employees identify the difference between legal discrimination and an illegal “hostile environment,” promotes appropriate behavior, and reduces the potential for harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims.

2020-2021 “Virtual Business Matchmaking & Education” series

The Center for Global Management (CGM) at California State University, San Bernardino is holding its 2020-2021 Virtual Business Matchmaking & Education Series. Now in its seventh year, the no-cost virtual program includes monthly sessions focused on specific industry sectors and how to do business in Singapore, South Korea and the Philippines. Participants interested in expanding their business can connect with key resources, industry networks and gain valuable preliminary research for their business venture at no cost. Interested parties are invited to register for one or more sessions.

Thursday, November 19, 2020, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. – Agriculture/food/beverage products & services/business in South Korea, Singapore and the Philippines
