San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman is happy to announce that the winner of the Business of the Quarter Award for the First Quarter of 2019 is TrueCare Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Spa in Chino Hills!
Celebrated by his patients as one of the most caring and compassionate doctors they've ever encountered, Dr. Babak Farzaneh is known not only for his devotion to his patients, but also for his commitment to giving back to the less fortunate, particularly disadvantaged children. Through his work as both a surgeon, who even makes personal house calls to his post-surgery patients, and a philanthropist, Dr. Farzaneh is heavily involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation, Amnesty International and foster care organizations nationwide. Locally, Dr. Farzaneh and his staff attend many special events such as the Let It Be Foundation 5K Walk, as well as donating to the local Inland Empire Best Buddies charity for children with special needs. Nominations for the Second Quarter of 2019 are now being accepted through June 30th. The winner will be announced during the Third Quarter of 2019, and all nominations are kept for a period of one year.

What types of services or events would you like offered at Prado Regional Park? On Saturday, April 6, from 10 am - 1 pm, San Bernardino County Regional Parks will be hosting a “Help Us Grow” Master Plan Workshop for Prado Regional Park. The event will be held at the Chaffey College Chino Campus located at 5890 College Park Ave. in Chino.
The event will include: • Games/Contests for the whole Family • Free Refreshments • Presentations and Entertainment • Open discussion on Park enhancements and activities • Incentive prizes and giveaways • Presentations and Entertainment

Calling All Safety Heroes
Do you know someone who promotes public safety and preparedness in their neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces? We call them a Safety Hero!
#Vision4Safety is seeking nominees in San Bernardino County for Safety Heroes in hopes of recognizing people in our community who have made a difference by always striving to make their communities safer and better prepared for emergencies.
Nominations are being accepted until May 31, 2019.

Events Around the Fourth
On Monday, March 18, Chairman Curt Hagman hosted the Generation Joshua Club, a homeschool group, where they discussed the role of county government and how it affects residents. The Chairman encouraged them to start getting involved in their communities, because civic engagement helps better communities.
Field Representative, Ruby Long attended a Ribbon Cutting for Miracle-Ear hosted by the Montclair Chamber of Commerce.
Field Representative, Suzette Dang attended the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Omnia Dental Care. They are located at 15911 Pomona Rincon Rd., Unit 120 in Chino Hills.
Field Representative, Melissa Compani attended the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for Pacific Energy Network located at 5857 Pine Avenue in Chino Hills.
On Saturday, March 9, Chairman Curt Hagman attended the Montclair Little League and the District 23 Challenger Little League Opening Day.
Field Representative, Suzette Dang attended the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for Milestones - Center for Child Development - located at 2140 Grand Avenue, Suite 135 in Chino Hills.
On Monady, March 4, Supervisor Janice Rutherford and Chairman Curt Hagman represented San Bernardino County at NACo in D.C. They met with Senator Dianne Feinstein, where they discussed homelessness, water, county jail issues, health care, and more.
