Supervisor Curt Hagman is recognizing the best and brightest places to do business within the Fourth District (Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair, Ontario and Upland*), honoring their contributions to our county with the “Business of the Quarter” award. If you are a customer, employee, and/or contractor for a local business, please nominate them for an opportunity to be recognized.

If you would like to Nominate a Business, place of work, favorite business, and is a business that gives back to the community, and is located within the Fourth District of the County (Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair, Ontario, and Upland), then please enter both your information and the business’s information on the application. Each nomination will be reviewed, and a winner will be chosen for each quarter. Please be as detailed as possible when filling out the nomination form on behalf of the business you’d like to see as a winner.
Nominations for the First Quarter of 2019 are now being accepted through March 31st. The winner will be announced during the Third Quarter, and all nominations are kept for a period of one year.

What types of services or events would you like offered at Prado Regional Park? On Saturday, April 6, from 10 am - 1 pm, San Bernardino County Regional Parks will be hosting a “Help Us Grow” Master Plan Workshop for Prado Regional Park. The event will be held at the Chaffey College Chino Campus located at 5890 College Park Ave. in Chino.
The event will include: • Games/Contests for the whole Family • Free Refreshments • Presentations and Entertainment • Open discussion on Park enhancements and activities • Incentive prizes and giveaways • Presentations and Entertainment

Events Around the Fourth
On Wednesday, February 28, Field Representative Melissa Compani attended Literacy Day at Hidden Trails Elementary School located in Chino. Many community leaders, fire, and police attended and showed their support by reading to the students.
Field Representative, Melissa Compani, participated in the Read Across America Campaign by reading "Horton Hears A Who" to the students at Oak Ridge Elementary located in Chino Hills.
On Tuesday, February 19, Social Media Manager, Andie Castañeda, attended the Upland Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for B Royal Beauty Palace located at 302 N. Mountain Ave. in Upland. B Royal Beauty Palace, a top-of-the-line beauty salon where you are treated like royalty.
On Tuesday, February 19, Chairman Hagman presented the James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library with a resolution to celebrate their 10-year Anniversary.
Chairman Hagman was honored to present Preston Chew, a brain cancer survivor, with a certificate of recognition on his recent graduation from the Alternative Education Center. Preston graduated six months early and with a perfect attendance record since Kindergarten. What a huge achievement!
The Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Zeb Welborn, presented Chairman Hagman with a Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce Membership plaque.
During the Board of Supervisors Meeting on February 12, the Board of Supervisors recognized Chief Mark Hartwig on his retirements from the San Bernardino County Fire District after 27 years of service.
