JetBlue is Back

a

Wednesday, September 5, 2018 was a new day for Ontario International Airport.  JetBlue returned to Terminal 2 after a decade-long absence at the airport.  The airline's inaugural flight landed in Ontario just before 10 p.m. local time.  Ontario is the tenth city that JetBlue serves in California and the 73rd nonstop destination from New York-JFK.

Ontario International Airport serves some six million people in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, as well as portions of Orange and Los Angeles counties.  The Inland Empire has become one of the fastest growing metro areas in California due to its affordable home prices, new construction, and a growing nightlife and cultural scene. The San Bernardino-Riverside-Ontario metro area is on track to grow by some two million people over the next three decades and Ontario International Airport has demonstrated it is committed to supporting that growth.

JetBlue's new service between Ontario and New York-JFK is part of a broader series of network enhancements designed to better meet the needs of coast-to-coast travelers. With the most legroom in coach, unlimited free snacks and complimentary Fly-Fi high-speed internet, live television and movies, JetBlue's unmatched on-board products and comfort make the airline a favorite choice for transcontinental travel.

We Are Here to Help

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Each year, more than 41,000 individuals die by suicide, leaving behind their family members and friends in the dark.

Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, or background.  In fact, suicide is often the result of an untreated mental health condition.

This month is used to reach out to those affected by suicide, raise awareness and connect individuals, friends and families have access to the resources needed to discuss suicide prevention.

  • If you or someone you know is in an emergency, call 911 immediately.
  • If you are in crisis or are experiencing difficult or suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
  • If you're uncomfortable talking on the phone, you can also text NAMI to 741-741 to be connected to a free, trained crisis counselor on the Crisis Text Line.
