Ontario Chamber has a Vision for 2018

On Friday, January 26, 2018, a large group gathered at the Hilton Ontario Airport DoubleTree to hear the 2018 forecast update and vision on local issues regarding transportation, housing, workforce development and regulations, presented by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

Opening and welcoming comments were provided by, Scott Ochoa, Ontario's new City Manager. Following Ochoa’s comments, three panels covering each of the topics were presented. Each panel was introduced by a chamber member and followed by a lively question and answer period, before Jeff Roberts, Chairman, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, wrapped up the event.

Business of the Quarter

aa

San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman is happy to announce that the winner of the Business of the Quarter Award for the Fourth Quarter of 2017 is Advanced Custom Manufacturing in Chino!

Advanced Custom Manufacturing is a custom manufacturing and fabrication company located in Chino since 1986. They have a 32 year history of serving major aerospace companies, military organizations, architectural designers, major airlines, and the entertainment industry. Advanced Custom Manufacturing is a United States Small Business Association recognized Woman Owned Business, manufacturing a variety of custom pieces for dozens of satisfied customers.

During his visit, Supervisor Hagman and staff were shown components to American Attack Helicopters, Stealth Bombers, Surface to Air Missiles, and the boulder they created for Disneyland’s Indiana Jones Ride. Supervisor Curt Hagman selected Advanced Custom Manufacturing because it is a woman-owned, woman-managed manufacturing company supporting our military and local economy, which has employed most of its staff for over 25 years.

President Susan Mathieson and General Manager Kitty Underhill, and the rest of the staff at ACMFG, you are living proof that "We Can Do It!" Congratulations again to the Advanced Custom Manufacturing team!
