Meeting Zoom Link (first Wednesday of the month only)
🎉😊On March 14, Hartnell College hosted its 20th Annual STEAM Family Science Day, bringing together students, families, educators, and community partners for a free day of hands-on learning and exploration. The event introduced young people to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through interactive experiments, demonstrations, and creative activities designed to spark curiosity and excitement about learning.
Opportunities like STEAM Family Science Day play an important role in supporting youth in our community. By giving students, the chance to explore new ideas, solve problems, and interact with educators and professionals, the event helps inspire confidence and encourages young people to imagine themselves pursuing careers in science, technology, and other innovative fields.
Beyond the classroom, events like this strengthen the entire Salinas Valley community. By providing free, accessible educational experiences for families, they create positive spaces for youth to learn, grow, and connect with mentors and resources that support their future success. 🎉😊
