If you have not registered for the Summer Reading Challenge, it is not too late. Visit any library to signup or register via ReadSquared. Remember to visit the library to pick up your prize once you complete your reading!
Join the fun at Cesar Chavez Library’s Game Showdown, a video game tournament for kids! Kids will play Gang Beast on July 12 and Mario Kart 8 on July 19. Enjoy some snacks and win a free book if you’re one of the top players.

Prepare your soon-to-be kindergartener to confidently step into the first day of school with the help of the Salinas Public Library's Kinder Boot Camp! The program is open to all incoming, first-year kindergarten students and incoming transitional kindergarten (TK) students, especially those with limited preschool exposure. These camps are designed to make a smoother transition to school life by introducing them to classroom routines while promoting social interaction, language, and self-regulation skills. Space is very limited.
