Shining in Our Community
Amor Salinas Earth Day - Salinas Neighborhood and Community Services
On Saturday, April 26, Sherwood Park transformed into a lively community celebration during the 2025 Amor Salinas Earth Day Festival, hosted by the Neighborhood and Community Services.
Over 40 community organizations came together to celebrate earth and sustainability, bringing with them a colorful mix of live performances, interactive games, eco-friendly activities, and local food.
The festival is part of the Amor Salinas Movement, an ongoing effort to beautify neighborhoods and boost the quality of life across the city. And of course, the crowd went wild when Salinas’ own eco-hero, Ranger, made a special appearance. Ranger was seen cheering on the crowd and sharing the message of a cleaner, more sustainable future.
From kids planting flowers to families learning about resources, the spirit of community and environmental action was in full bloom!
