Monterey County Gives! Breaks Fundraising Record with $14 Million in 2024
Monterey County Gives! has hit another fundraising milestone, raising over $14 million in its 2024 campaign, which is $2 million more than last year. This annual event, a campaign led by the Monterey County Weekly, the Community Foundation for Monterey County, and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, supports more than 200 local nonprofits.
Donors can choose which organizations they'd like to support, with 100% of contributions (plus a partial match) going directly to those causes. Since its start in 2009, Monterey County Gives! has raised over $82 million, making a big impact in the local community.

Community Foundation for Monterey County Scholarships
$1.5 million from more than 70 scholarships are available through one application at the Community Foundation for Monterey County. Please encourage students to apply by visiting www.cfmco.org/scholarshipapp. Scholarship applications will be accepted from January 6th to March 15th.
