Next up in March's Virtual Author Talk Series, we have Clara Bingham! Her book, The Movement, is an oral history of the feminist movement, told through the voices of those who lived it. It chronicles women’s awakening, organizing, and activism—moments when a decentralized collection of people and events sparked a cultural revolution. Clara weaves together the fragments of this explosion, bringing to life the powerful emotions behind a personal, political, and cultural transformation, where women demanded equal treatment and reshaped the fabric of American life.

From surprising insights—like all-male cheerleading squads in the early 1900s—to the impact of Title IX, Messner examines how sports, culture, and gender roles have shaped generations of students.
