Shining in Our Community
Rescuing Pets During the Los Angeles Wildfires - SPCA Monterey County
During the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, the SPCA Monterey County and Peace of Mind Dog Rescue from Pacific Grove stepped in to offer their support in a meaningful way. They traveled south to help ease the burden on overcrowded shelters, bringing back 15 dogs and cats to make space for animals affected by the fires. The dedicated team at the SPCA has reassured the community that they are ready to mobilize again if needed, with a skilled rescue team prepared for more trips. The rescued pets are now available for adoption at the SPCA shelter in Salinas, offering a chance for these loving animals to find their forever homes. 🐶🐱💙
*All three pets in these pictures were rescued from a LA area shelter and are currently available for adoption.
