City Council names Dominick Casey as City Manager

The Roseville City Council has selected Dominick Casey to be Roseville’s next City Manager, following a competitive search. Casey has been serving as Acting City Manager since April 15, following the announcement of former City Manager Rob Jensen’s retirement.

Roseville named 8th best small city in U.S. for first-time home buyers

Roseville is the 8th best small city and 18th best city overall in the United States for first-time home buyers according to WalletHub.com.

This ranking reinforces Roseville's standing as one of the most desirable places to live in California.  In 2017, Roseville was also ranked as the top place to raise a family in California by Smart Asset.com and as one of the leading cities where millennials are buying homes.

City Manager provides in-depth look at FY18-19 City Budget

Roseville’s fiscal position has improved since the recession. However, the City is not immune from slowing revenue growth and increasing expenses faced by cities throughout California. Deferred maintenance, along with increasing operational and retirement costs, have added pressure on our ability to maintain current service levels with projected revenue streams.

Come join us by the waters of the beautiful Roseville Aquatics Complex for the 23rd Annual Roseville Splash - brought to you by the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The fun takes place poolside on Saturday, September 8 from 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Discover the offerings of area restaurants, wineries, breweries, and bands from around Roseville and Northern California. Over 1,300 people attended last year's festivities.

A portion of the event proceeds is given back to the City for their at risk youth programs.

Concerts in the Square, August 18, Journey Revisited

Concerts on the Square continue with Journey Revisited

Join us every third Saturday through September to hear great music! The August 18th concert features "Journey Revisited,” a tribute to the music of “Journey.” These exceptional musicians cover all of the fan favorites from “Don’t Stop Believin',” “Wheel in the Sky,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Lights” and many more.

They do it without any pre-recorded backing tracks or digital vocal enhancements. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. Come on down and enjoy some tasty food-truck grub, visit the beer garden, and claim your space for the show. Free admission. $25 nightly cabana rentals available.
