Sacramento’s Track 7 Brewing is exploring the idea of opening a tap room in Roseville.
The Roseville Community Development Corporation entered into an exclusive 90-day negotiating agreement with the brewery in August regarding the Old Fellows Building in Historic Old Town Roseville.
The 5,000-square foot brick building was built in 1878 and is the oldest standing building in Roseville.The Roseville Community Development Corporation purchased it last year at a Placer County tax land default sale.

New online permit and plan review center coming soon
In an effort to streamline the city's permitting processes, we are in the process of implementing two new services for our residents and business partners – Online Application Submittals and the highly requested Electronic Plan Review process.
These enhancements to our online presence will modernize the process for the submittal, review, and approval of individual projects by accepting permit applications, payments, and electronic plans online – anytime, anywhere.

Roseville hosted the recent Greater Sacramento Economic Council
meeting, where they discussed the development of business innovations in the
region. The August meeting brought together business leaders from several
sectors to address the development of self-sustaining business environment. It was well attended with more than 250 participants.
The conversations focused on the effort to increase the
opportunities for innovation in the region. They included the building of tech
accelerators and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region.
The discussions included the support and coordination of the
stakeholders in our economic community. The interaction between government,
universities, and critical funding sources are critical to the structure and
development of this community.
The Greater Sacramento Economic Council hosts bi-annual
Conversations with the Community to create opportunities for investors and the
broader public to connect with key thought leaders, hear updates on our
strategic initiatives, discuss issues relevant to our region, and collaborate
as we build an advanced economy in the region.
Engage Roseville is a community effort to involve residents, businesses, and others who have a stake in Roseville’s quality of life, in prioritizing city services and developing options to align service levels with revenues.
The Roseville City Council approved formation of a volunteer Community Priorities Advisory Committee (CPAC) as one of several comprehensive activities to ensure direct and meaningful community participation in reviewing levels of City-provided services.
The next Community
Priorities Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting is Wednesday, September 13 at
6 p.m. at the Martha Riley Library. All CPAC meetings are open to the public.
Police Chief Jim Maccoun will be
there to present information about the Roseville Police Department's services
and budget.
