New beginnings, new locations, new businesses!

Placer SPCA is processing tenant improvements for a new location at 99 Yosemite Street. The nearly 20,000 square foot remodel/addition is valued at nearly one million dollars. Unger Construction is the general contractor on the project.  Read more about the project in this 2015 bizjounal article.

Placer SPCA is the largest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in Placer County. In operation for 40 years, it shelters up to 4,000 animals annually and provides adoption counseling, spay and neuter assistance, pet lost and found, an array of classes and workshops, collaborative rescue efforts, pet behavioral training, and volunteer opportunities including a thrift store.

Yet Placer SPCA is at a critical juncture. Their ability to serve a growing community is challenged by a facility that has outlived its useful lifespan and is becoming ever more expensive to maintain.

To address the challenges of its existing site, as well as future program and animal capacity requirements, the Placer SPCA Board of Directors has embarked on plans for a new Animal Care and Adoption Center. Intended as both a community space and animal welfare center, this new facility has been designed as a gathering place where people and animals can unite in a calm, stress-free environment.

Planning entitlements are in for review to modify the exterior to their corporate "lumberjack" architectural style, including nearly 900 square feet of outdoor patio. Twin Peaks offers everything you crave and more. Hearty made-from-scratch comfort food, draft beer served at a teeth-chattering 29 degrees and all the best sports in town shown on high-definition flat screens. All of this is served by friendly and attentive Twin Peaks Girls, offering their signature “Girl Next Door” charisma.

SEVA BEAUTY Seva Beauty will be locating inside WalMart at 900 Pleasant Grove Blvd. Tenant Improvement plans are under review. Seva offers spa services, including high-quality eyebrow threading, waxing, eyelash extensions and facials at an affordable price. Providing clients treatments in a fast casual manner, the convenience of Seva comes without losing the feel of a traditional spa. Currently, there are more than 100 Seva locations open or in development in the United States, with hundreds more planned to open nationwide in the coming years.
