 Dear Third District Resident,
November always brings a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate all that makes our Southwest region such a special place to call home. It is a time when we recognize the people, programs, and partnerships that strengthen our district and remember just how much we can accomplish when we show up for one another.
Earlier this month, we honored Veterans Day and paid tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. As a veteran myself, I know firsthand the sacrifice and commitment that service requires. It is important that those who have given so much receive the support they need when they return home. Across our region, Riverside County Veterans Services and many local organizations offer resources for healthcare, benefits, housing, and day-to-day needs. If you or someone you know could benefit, please visit https://rivcoveterans.org/.
As we honor our veterans, we also enter a season of gratitude and togetherness. Thanksgiving reminds us to slow down, connect with family, friends, and neighbors, and extend kindness to those who may be facing challenges. Whether through volunteering, supporting a local nonprofit, or offering a small gesture of care, each act strengthens the fabric of our community.
This month also brings an opportunity to uplift our local economy. Small Business Saturday is right around the corner, and I encourage you to shop local and support the small businesses that keep our communities vibrant. Every purchase, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Third District and for the generosity, resilience, and community spirit that shine throughout our region. Wishing you and your loved ones a warm and joyful Thanksgiving.
