Home and Story: Growing Up with the Museum

Author Susan Straight and Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson, Riverside natives, engage in a community conversation about story and place.

Join the Museum of Riverside as we present a special program featuring Susan Straight, acclaimed local author and Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside, and the Honorable Patricia Lock Dawson, Mayor of Riverside. Both these women and their families have deep roots in Riverside. They also have a close connection to the Museum of Riverside, with daughters who are now carrying that legacy forward in their respected fields.
