The Magnolia Grade Separation Construction is complete – let’s celebrate our Ward’s newest innovation! To thank the businesses, residents and our partners for their patience and cooperation during planning and construction, City Hall will be hosting an informal ribbon cutting ceremony this week on Wednesday, February 8 at 3:15pm. The ribbon cutting will take place on the corner of Merrill and Magnolia – (in the lot next to the Lucky Greek). Please join us for light refreshments and a ribbon cutting! Riverside Raincross 5K Run/ Walk for Heroes. Put on your running (or walking) shoes and join us for the annual Raincross 5K. Lace up in time for the 7:30 am start on Saturday the 25^th of February. Fairmount Park (2601 Fairmount Blvd., Riverside) 5K individual run is $25 And the kids Heroes Walk is $15 per person. Ever dream of being a JUDGE? Then now is your opportunity, become a JUDGE for Riverside’s National History Day Competition. Riverside is pleased to announce that the National HISTORY DAY Competition for the State of California will take place at the Riverside Convention Center, April 27th through 29th, 2012.
