Important Information Regarding Phase III of the Widening of

Van Buren Boulevard

We received the following information from March Joint Powers Authority regarding Phase III widening of Van Buren Blvd. between Village West Drive and Barton Road.

The project will commence next week and below is a rough outline of the work to be performed and the timing to complete.

Wet and set utilities will start next week and is anticipated to last 4 to 5 months. There will be lanes closed at times.
Streets and signals work will take place from March through September. Lanes will be closed at times and will be shifted from one side to the other from Village West to Barton. The project will begin on the east section of Van Buren Blvd. and will proceed west.

As the project moves forward, the schedule will be updated to include planned lane closures and shifting traffic over from one side to the next.
