Ward 3 NEWSBLAST!
Hello Ward 3 Subscribers,
I believe the public's input on pay and benefits for the City Manager and settling on what is acceptable to the people MUST be resolved BEFORE we hire a permanent City Manager.
I worry that there will be a rush to replace and the talks will occur BEFORE the people have weighed in on this and make it very clear what level of compensation they want for Riverside's next City Manager. Failure to settle the pay will set up the next manager for failure and again possible removal.
What do you think about this? Will you email your Council? Will you speak at the May 1st evening Council meeting?
Comments can be emailed to: City_Clerk@riversideca.gov
OR
Voice your opinion directly to the entire City Council body at the evening Council session. The meeting starts at 6:15PM, however with this being the 3rd discussion item, it should begin sometime around or after 7:00PM.
