Dear Residents and Members of the Community,

 

 

Ward 6 Community Meeting Reminder

 

A friendly reminder to all Ward 6 residents regarding our upcoming Ward 6 Community Meeting.  You are invited to attend our Community Meeting scheduled on September 20^th at 6:30pm, Arlanza Community Center/Bryant Park (7950 Philbin Avenue, Riverside).  We will give an update on current projects, new development coming to the area, Housing First, the Request for Proposal at La Sierra/Collett and many more updates on events happening on the west end of the City.  We will also take time to meet with residents and answer questions.

 

Housing Element Rezoning Commission

 

As we continue to move through the Housing Element Rezoning process that is mandated to our City by the state.  We remind residents that the current state law requires all local governments to prepare a Housing Element to address their local housing needs and their share of the region’s need for new housing.  As part of the implementation of the Housing Element, local governments including the City of Riverside, are required to identify adequate sites for a range of housing. The next Scheduled Planning Commission Meeting to discuss the Housing Element Rezoning is September 14^th at 6pm, Riverside City Hall (3900 Main Street). Please attend if you have comments or concerns. Below are some additional informational links:
