A Day in the Park:
As a reminder, on Saturday, May 20th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm we will be hosting A Day in the Park at La Sierra Park for the youth in our community.
Our goal is to bring parents and kids to interact with recreational opportunities that exist in the City in which enrich their lives by social, athletic, and outdoor activities building social and physical skills.
We invite you to participate as parents who may want to volunteer or children who want to learn, play and experience the many opportunities that exist locally.
Groups from organized sports (soccer, baseball, football, etc..), dance studios, martial arts, educational groups (homework help, tutoring, art and such), boys and girls clubs, cub scouts, boy scouts, girl scouts, etc.…are welcomed to attend! If you are looking for volunteers or youth participants and provide positive opportunities, we hope you consider being involved.
There is no cost to attend A Day in the Park, we welcome your enthusiasm and desire to share information.
Please see flyer below for additional information. If you would like to have a booth at the event please contact Sandy Garcia at sgarcia@riversideca.gov. We look forward to your attendance and participation!
