 Greeting From Your Mayor
As you settle back in, after what I hope was a relaxing summer, I wanted to take a few minutes to update you about some of my recent and upcoming activities. The summer months brought opportunties to celebrate with local businesses as they established or expanded their Riverside operations. Our local businesses bring valuable jobs to our community and I appreciate the investments that they provide to our city.
With school back in session and the holidays approaching, I am sure safety is at the top of your priority list. Please join me, and members of our police and fire teams, on Saturday, September 12th, for a Safety Fair at the Grove Community Church in Riverside. The Grove is heavily invested in our community, providing valuable services to those that can't afford them. So if for no other reason, stop by to learn about the conributions they are making to Riverside.
It's been fourteen years since the horrific events that took place on 9/11. On Friday, our city will take part in a day of service to honor our first reponders. It is a worthy cause and a nice opportunity to come together as a community.
Take a look below and learn more about the positive things happening in Riverside. As always, I am proud to serve as your Mayor and my team is available to help you, as well.
Riverside Pride!
Mayor Rusty Bailey

The Mission Belle C-17 Airplane Celebrates "The Spirit of Riverside"
On August 11, 2015, I was honored to attend a dedication ceremony with Colonel Russell A. Muncy, at March Air Reserve Base.
During the ceremony, we unveiled the new nose art for the C-17 Globemaster III, a welcome addition to March Air Force Base. The nose art was designed in tribute to Riverside's long and rich history and the role our city has played in the larger region.

Riverside Is A Business Friendly Community

One of my favorite things to do as your Mayor is to celebrate the successes of local businesses. In August, I was able to celebrate with the Sullivan Solar Power team at thier ribbon cutting event. I was also able to attend a celebration of Manheim, in Riverside, as they expanded their auto auction operations.
