California Bioresources Alliance Symposium 2020 - update

The California Bioresources Alliance Symposium (Symposium) focuses on management of organic residuals in California including manure, biosolids, food waste, agricultural wastes, green waste, and wood waste.  It brings together municipal organic waste reduction and climate managers, facility developers and operators, local zoning and permitting authorities, regulatory agencies, policymakers, trade associations, public interest organizations, and academics to discuss how to make full use of our valuable organic waste byproducts.

This year, the 15th annual Symposium will be an online event focusing on funding, technology, and social issues.  It will include sessions addressing organic residuals treatment technologies and project development updates, clean transportation and connectivity, data management and reporting, energy and organic waste nexus, financial pathways, Senate Bill 1383 (Lara, Chapter 395, Statutes of 2016) and project development, community-scale adaptation and resiliency planning and funding, and emerging contaminants.
