SUBJECT: REMINDER - Bike to Work Day is Tomorrow - Thursday, May 8!

Bike to work, school or even around your neighborhood on Thursday, May 8!  Last year, over 15,000 cyclists participated throughout Bike to Work Day, according to the Bike East Bay website.  See attached flyer.

Here are some things you can do to get ready and get involved:

• Find your nearest Energizer Station, located along Bay Area commute routes. Stations will be open during morning commute hours; some during evening commute.  Energizer stations near OAK include:
  • Harbor Bay Ferry  on Bay Farm Island, Alameda
  • Bay Farm Bike/Ped bridge on Doolittle
  • Fruitvale, San Leandro and Bay Fair BART stations
• On Bike to Work Day, stop for refreshments, giveaways and bicycling information at an energizer station. 
• Visit bikeeastbay.org/btwd for more information on energizer stations, social rides and events, raffle prizes and giveaways and more!
