OAKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
AIRPORT BULLETIN
SUBJECT: Passenger Ground Access Survey
DATE: May 5, 2014
Scope of Work:
Oakland International Airport is conducting a Passenger Ground Access Survey as a joint project with SFO. The survey consultant is Corey, Canapary & Galanis. The survey will engage departing passengers in the gate areas to determine passenger origin, trip purpose, party size, and mode choice (including transit and parking options). The primary survey instrument will be an electronic tablet. There will also be an optional paper version. Surveyors will wear identification badges. The survey will be conducted continuously over a 12-month period for a total of 8,000 completed surveys at OAK, approximately 660 surveys each month.
Work Location:
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Gate areas.
Project Duration and Planned Schedule:
Duration: May 2014 to June 2015
Days & Hours: Weekdays and weekends during all hours that the Airport is open.
