SUBJECT:         Installation of Heating Hot Water Migration Valves under Building M-102, Terminal 1.

 

DATE:                 March 26^th, 2013 

                                   

 

Scope of Work:

 

As part of the Terminal 1 Advanced Hydronics project, Turner Construction, NV Heathorn, Inc., will be installing heating hot water migration valves underneath Building M-102 of Terminal 1. The contractor will be welding new piping and valves to the existing heating hot water system to support the future hydronics piping work. The hot water system will be offline during this time.

 

Construction Duration and Planned Schedule:

 

Duration:                             March 27^th, 2013

Work Day(s):                      One (1)

Work hours:                        1600 to 2000 hours

 

Vehicles:

 

Construction vehicles will display the appropriate placards. Vehicles will be parked under Building M-152 connector.

 

Vehicles will at all times comply with Oakland International Airport, Airport Operations Area (AOA) Vehicle Safety Rules 406.2.

 

Personnel Identification:

 

Turner Construction and NV Heathorn, Inc. are properly badged for the work area or will be under escort of badged personnel.

 

Special Instructions and/or restrictions:

 

Work site will be kept clean and free of debris at the completion of the work. Hot water to the air handling units will be offline; building occupants in Building M-102 should anticipate minimal heating during these hours. If you have any issues, please notify Airside Operations at 510-563-3361.
