SUBJECT:    Appointment of Airport Security / ID Badging Supervisor

The Port of Oakland is pleased to announce that Mr. Jacob Graef has been promoted to Airport Security / ID Badging Supervisor effective Monday, October 17, 2011. Over the past 3 years, Mr. Graef has been an integral part of the Aviation Security Department overseeing several critical security contracts and working on a variety of special projects with the Aviation Security Superintendent and Aviation Security Manager. Most recently, he was also the Acting Airport Security / ID Badging Supervisor. In his new role, Mr. Graef will be focused on developing and updating standard operating procedures in the ID Badging Office, implementing QA/QC procedures, and enhancing customer service. While the Port recruits to fill Mr. Graef’s position he is vacating (Administrative Analyst II), Mr. Graef will continue to assist the Aviation Security Department with several of his existing responsibilities.
