Construction of Checked Baggage Inspection System to Support Explosives Detection System Recapitalization at Terminal 2, South Field

Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.
The work consists generally of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision required to upgrade the Checked Baggage Inspection System (CBIS) including removal and replacement of portions of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) /(CBIS) and mechanical and electrical upgrades.
A valid California Class A contractor’s license is required to bid this Contract.
Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled as follows:

DIRECTIONS TO PRE-BID MEETING LOCATION:
The Shepard-Glenn Building is a modular building located to the north (right when facing terminal) of Terminal One at the corner of Alan Shepard Way and John Glenn Drive. See the attached map. Please enter through the Visitor's Entrance, Door #2, and call Susan Fizzell at 510-517-3469, when you have arrived so she can let you into the Conference Room. However, if other access instructions are posted at the Visitor’s Entrance, please follow those instructions.
