INVITATION TO BID

 

FURNISHING LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT FOR GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTOR SERVICES FOR PORT OF OAKLAND FACILITIES  FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2016, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2016, 2017, OR 2018, OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA  (SBE)  

Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.

 The work of this annual Contract (Contract No. X2015-09-S2) and of the concurrent annual Contract put out to bid under the same title but not restricted to SBE bidders (Contract No. X2015-09-S1) consists, in general, of furnishing both scheduled and on-call general construction services for repairing, remodeling, and constructing building related improvements for the period indicated.  Design services may also be required occasionally.

 To bid this work, the bidder shall possess a valid California Class A or Class B contractor’s license.  Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. 

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled as follows: 

9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015

Bid Due Date:  Thursday, October 29, 2015 Bid Due Time:  2:00 p.m.
