Ongoing Projects:
- Athens Avenue and North Foothills Blvd Sewer extension project will continue working day shift and Road Closure with traffic control will be in effect at North Foothills Blvd. The completion date is not determined currently.
New Projects:
- PVSP Property 2 Phase 1 Subdivision Improvement Plans (End of Town Center at Stargazer Dr.) – Project construction has started.
- Placer One Village 15/16 Rough Grading/ Improvement Plans (Sunset at N. Foothills within the Placer Ranch Specific Plan Neighborhood) – Rough Grading is wrapping up and project construction will be starting soon.
Residents can expect construction noise during allowable work hours. Dust, erosion and sediment control best management practices are required for all projects.

UPDATE FROM PCSO
Unified Command Training:
In Placer County, wildfire danger is a real and ongoing threat. It takes strong teamwork and preparation to protect our communities when disaster strikes.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office partnered with CAL FIRE NEU and neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies for our annual Unified Command Training. This multi-agency exercise is designed to enhance emergency response by improving communication, coordination, and cooperation across departments.
The training involved realistic scenarios that simulated high-pressure crisis situations - requiring all participants to think quickly, collaborate effectively, and make decisions as a unified team.
Over the years, we've seen these types of situations unfold in real life. Thanks to this continued training, we’re able to respond more efficiently and provide the highest level of service to the people of Placer County.
