Watch (3 Min): Registrar of Voters Ryan Ronco Speaks with KCRA About the November 5, 2024 General Election

Placer Elections Thumb

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

As we quickly approach Election Day on November 5, I wanted to reach out and share some important reminders about the voting process here in Placer County. It's crucial that we all take the time to ensure our voices are heard and our votes are counted.

With the adoption of the Voter’s Choice Act, you can now visit any of the twenty-nine regional vote centers in the county. Some of these centers have already opened their doors as of October 26, and the rest will be available starting November 2. This means you can choose a location that’s most convenient for you!

I encourage you to vote early or using the “Sign, Scan & GO!” process at a vote center. This allows you to bring your vote-by-mail ballot, check in with the staff, and watch as your ballot is scanned and counted. Many voters found this process to be quick and reassuring during the March primary, knowing their votes were included in the preliminary results on Election Night.

If you prefer to vote by mail, be sure to return your ballot to the Elections Office in person, by mail, or at one of the 31 official drop boxes around Placer County. Just remember to sign your ballot envelope—this step is vital for ensuring your vote is counted!

Transparency and security are top priorities for our Elections Office. If you’re interested in learning more about the election process or need assistance, you can visit the Elections Office or check out their website for helpful resources.

Let’s make our voices heard this election season! Early voting not only ensures that our votes are counted but also helps avoid the last-minute rush on Election Day. Please share this information with friends and family—every vote counts!

Warm regards,
Bonnie

NOTICE: Construction On PFE Road Through Fall 2025

Creekview Ranch Offsite PFE Road includes underground utilities, roadway widening and construction of a traffic signal PFE Road at Antelope Road.

The project limits will encompass PFE Road from Cook Riolo Road east to Viking Place, and extend south on Antelope for 800 feet from PFE Road.

Residents should expect construction noise during allowable work hours.  Night work and lane closures should be expected from the end of October and throughout the month of November, 2024.

Construction is expected through the fall of 2025.

Project Details: Plans have been approved for the construction of a waterline along PFE Road as part of the Creekview Ranch project. This phase of work will take place within the existing roadway and will primarily occur at night to minimize impact on daytime traffic, resulting in temporary road closures.

Subsequent to the waterline installation, there will be additional work involving the widening of PFE Road and underground improvements.

For more information about this, and other construction in the area, visit Placer.CA.Gov/CurrentConstruction.

Thank you for your understanding during this construction period.
