Board of Supervisors Meetings

The Board of Supervisors meets twice monthly at the Placer County Administration Center, "The Domes," unless otherwise noted. Residents are always welcome to attend meetings in person or watch the meetings online at Placer.CA.Gov/BOSLive.

The meeting will begin at 8:15 a.m. and the Regional Housing Needs Allocation Rezone Program is tentatively scheduled to be heard at 9:45 a.m. Finalized times will be listed on the official notice at least 72 hours prior to the hearing.

In the April 2024 District 1 Newsletter, sent Friday, April 26th, there was not a specified location other than "The Domes" for the May 21, 2024 Board of Supervisors meeting.

Construction Commencing This Month

Residents can expect construction noise during allowable work hours. Dust, erosion and sediment control best management practices are required for all projects. 

- Project One: Brady Estates held its preconstruction meeting on May 2^nd.   Nine lots located off of Brady Lane south of Baseline Road.

- Project Two: Placer Vineyards Village 4 also held a preconstruction meeting on May 2^nd.   154 lots located west of Stargazer Drive south of Baseline Road.

On Monday, with an incredible show of support, Deputy Richard Porter was released from the Sutter Roseville Medical Center. He was shot while on duty last week in Colfax.

He was met with cheers as he walked to his car. Before heading home, Deputy Porter had the chance to meet his flight nurse who was there during a critical time. A procession followed, showing Deputy Porter the support her has here at the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and across our community.

We want to thank everyone for the support over the past several days. Placer County is a special place. The Placer 10-35 Foundation has kindly organized a fundraiser for Deputy Porter and his family.
