The Placer County Sheriff's Office is inviting all children between 7 and 12 years old to participate in their Ride With Pride Horse Camp. Camp will be held June 10th, 11th, and 12th from 9:00 am- 2:30 pm. (One day camp, new kids each day). Location to be determined.
The Sheriff's Office has developed a complete program to teach children about the care, handling, and riding of horses. The instructors are experienced with horses and are all members of local law enforcement. They utilize the horses for patrol, crowd control, and special events. The children even get to ride a local law enforcement horse! This is an outstanding opportunity for your child to receive quality hands-on instruction and get to know local law enforcement and their horses.
Registration begins April 15th at 8am and ends April 22nd at 8am. Register here starting April 15th!
