Just this week, we launched our new Opioid Response team with Sgt. Stokes and Det. Craven as the initial members of this team. This team was created for the purpose of enforcing opioid crimes and educating our community about the dangers of opioids. We are excited about the benefits this team will provide to all of Placer County, and it is one of the first of its kind in the entire state. Additionally, Det. Craven recently filmed a segment with NBC national that will be aired on NBC Nightly News and potentially the Today show. Keep an eye out on our social media pages for when this segment will air.
