Placer County Boards & Commissions Vacancies for District 2

Placer County is seeking appointments to the following Board and Commissions for District 2. 

Library Advisory Board

Placer County is seeking a Board Member to serve on behalf of District 2, which includes Lincoln, Sheridan, and West Roseville (west of Fiddyment Road). Applicants must reside within District 2.

The Placer County Library Advisory Board advises and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and the Placer County Director of Library Services concerning policies and procedures for the operation of the County Free Library System.

Fish & Game Commission

Placer County is seeking a Fish & Game Commissioner to serve on behalf of District 2, which includes Lincoln, Sheridan, and West Roseville (west of Fiddyment Road). Applicants must reside within District 2.

The Placer County Fish & Game Commission advises the County Board of Supervisors on all issues affecting fish and wildlife in Placer County. The Commission coordinates efforts in habitat improvements, public awareness and natural resource education.

Sheridan Municipal Advisory Council

Municipal Advisory Councils (MACs) are comprised of local residents who advise the Board of Supervisors on issues or concerns. MACs are designed to provide a local public forum where information about land use, transportation and general county information is shared and discussed. Applicants must reside in Sheridan in order to be eligible to serve on the Sheridan MAC.
