CalFire anticipates more flooding in lower elevations with the incoming storm this weekend (3/10-3/12).

You are invited to a virtual Community Meeting Thursday, March 21, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
You will hear about what you can expect to see in the next year, what efforts are being made to mitigate the issues – including how we manage our water – and how our community will look in the future.
Hosted by Placer County Supervisors Bonnie Gore (District 1), and Shanti Landon (District 2), and Roseville Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt.

Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings to learn and provide feedback about issues in our area.

 California American Water customers in the Greater Sacramento area – including West Placer -- are invited to an in-person open house on Wednesday, March 15 at the Citrus Heights Community Center (6300 Fountain Square Drive) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The company will be sharing information about recent investments in the community and the rate case application for years 2024-2026. Stop by to ask questions, pick up water saving devices, speak with representatives from customer service, conservation, rates, operations, water quality, engineering, and more!

UPDATE FROM PCSO
 The Placer County Sheriff’s Office was honored to participate in the first multi-county Career Fair at Beale Air Force Base; PCSO representatives met with military personnel who are seeking careers in the civilian sector after their separation from service. There were approximately 200 service members in attendance at the event. The sheriff’s office is always looking to hire the brightest candidates across its many divisions.

All public safety agencies in Sacramento, Yolo, and Placer counties have partnered to have a state of the art community notification system to alert residents about emergency events and other important public safety information.
This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
Huge THANKS to our Placer County road crews who have been working tirelessly to clear snow and debris caused by the recent storms! Your efforts are very appreciated!
