 The applicant, Cal Holdings, LLC, is requesting approvals for the development of the Baseline Commercial Center on a 6.8-acre site located at the southeast corner of Baseline and Walerga roads. The proposed 31,200 square-foot shopping center would include a gas station/convenience store with a drive through car wash and 16-pump gas station, an oil change/auto repair building, a fast food restaurant with drive-through, and four additional retail buildings ranging in size from 3,200 square feet to 6,500 square feet, as well as associated parking, lighting, and landscaping.

 The Placer County Board of Supervisors will consider the Hidden Falls Regional Park trail expansion reduced project at a special board meeting on March 8. The project would increase the regional trail network and would provide new access and parking areas for the public. Learn more
 Placer County has dedicated a reserved parking spot for Purple Heart medal recipients at two county facilities following action by our Board of Supervisors to proclaim Placer as a Purple Heart County in November 2020. We marked the occasion today by unveiling the new sign outside Placer’s Veterans Services Office in Rocklin in a dedication event. Watch video
 February 13, 2021 marked the one year anniversary of the opening of the Roebbelen Center (Formerly Placer Valley Event Center) @The Grounds.
While it did not host the intended sporting tournaments or other major events, @the Grounds has served as a vital part of Placer County's COVID-19 response.
