Dear Friends and Neighbors –

In January, our Board welcomed new Supervisor Suzanne Jones. Suzanne has been a resident of Placer County for nearly 30 years and spent some time with me discussing some of the wonderful shops, restaurants, and recreation in District 4. Granite Bay is home to places like Bill’s Donut’s, Dominick’s Italian Market & Deli, and Douglas Feed and Pet Supply. I encourage you to patronize these locally owned businesses as we continue through the COVID-19 shutdown.

Don’t forget, Valentine’s day is quickly approaching! We have some wonderful florists, chocolatiers, wineries, and jewelers in our community. Stop by to get your special someone a wonderful gift and show LOVE for local!

Granite Bay is also home to excellent recreation. In addition to boating, hiking, and camping at Folsom Lake, you can go horseback riding, cycling, and golfing. We are fortunate to have this variety of recreation right here in Placer County. Be sure to get out, get some sun and fresh air!

Thank you again to Supervisor Jones for taking the time to speak with me. You can reach her office by visiting Supervisor Jones' County Webpage.

District 1 COVID-19 Headline and Data Snapshot Once Per Week
Vaccines are being dispensed to our residents as quickly and safely as possible. I understand the frustration of not being able to obtain a vaccination appointment and we are advocating for additional doses of vaccine.

My goal is to provide relevant and up-to-date information to the community regarding COVID-19 prevalence in Placer County without excessively inundating your email inbox. I will continue share headlines and updates from the Placer County Health Division as they release information; however, my bi-weekly updates will be moved to once a week beginning February 17, 2021.

Should it be necessary to resume more frequent snap-shot data updates, I will be sure to do so.

In-Person Office Hours (With Safety Precautions) Wednesday Mornings
District 1 Director, Landon Wolf, is available for residents to drop off documents or discuss issues on Wednesday mornings at our district office at 117 Church Street in Old Town Roseville. Inquiries by phone or email are still preferred but if you need to stop in, precautions are in place. Regular office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

If you have any questions or concerns you would like to convey to me, please email me at SupervisorGore@Placer.CA.Gov or you can call us at 916-787-8950.

I hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,
Bonnie
