Health Division Seeking Nurses for COVID-19 Support

Placer County Health Division is building a workforce to continue specimen collection and implement our COVID-19 vaccine campaign. Critical Care Beds Still Available: Do Not Hesitate to Seek Medical Support

From Placer County Health Division: Critical care beds are still available. Please do not hesitate to seek care if needed as our local hospitals have robust surge procedures.

Regional Bed Availability Information Now Included in Bi-Weekly Support

*Placer County Health Division now includes the figure “percentage of ICU beds available in Placer County hospitals”. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) tracks ICU capacity on a regional basis. Along with Placer, the Greater Sacramento Region includes the counties of Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba.

This report will include both the state (CDPH) and the County Health Division figures for ICU availability updated as frequently and accurately as possible.
