Field Service Technician - Sacramento/Roseville

 

Position:  Field Service Technician

Location:  Roseville - Sacramento

Hours:  Full-time

Salary:  $14.00 - $20.00 DOE

Job Description:

• Uninstall and Install (replace equipment onsite) POS unit and peripherals
• Verify connectivity and operational capability
• Technician will be traveling to customers’ homes/place of business providing service and customer support during field visits
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Produce timely and detailed service reports

Required Qualifications:

• Background in mechanical, with knowledge of electronics
• Experience/knowledge working with low voltage wiring, equipment installation, CAT 5, LAN, WAN, RAID and Circuit Cutover
• Must have clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
• Motivated self-starter with a passion and drive to start and complete projects
• Ability to work independently, no immediate supervision
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
