District 1 COVID-19 Update for September 25


Here is my bi-weekly COVID-19 statistics, shared every Tuesday and Friday. This data covers the entirety of Placer County and District 1 (Entirety of 95747, Part of 95678 and 95626)

Some of these numbers may be duplicates of numbers you can find on the Placer County Dashboard. Interim Health Officer

Dr. Rob Oldham will assume the role of Interim Health Officer until the job can be filled permanently. Dr. Oldham previously served in the role for nearly 6 years until 2019. Dr. Oldham was also recently appointed as the new Health and Human Services Director for Placer County. Placer serves up grant program to assist restaurants and bars - Apply through Sept. 30

The Placer County Board of Supervisors this week approved a $1.2 million grant program to assist restaurants and bars impacted by COVID-19 in the county. Eligible restaurants and bars may begin applying for $1,000 in grant funding via the newly established Placer Shares: Eats & Drinks program. Click here to read more

Are you 55 years or older, and feel like you could use someone to talk to who really understands what you are going through? Senior Peer Counseling is a free, voluntary, peer support program for Placer County residents aged 55 years or older, who are dealing with age-related adjustment issues.
