While we are saddened by the resignation of our current Public Health Officer, Dr. Sisson, Placer County will soon have a familiar face as its new director of Health and Human Services and chief psychiatrist: Dr. Rob Oldham. Dr. Oldham previously served as Placer County's Public Health Officer for 4 years and will also be serving as our interim Public Health Officer. On Sept. 8, the State of California moved Placer County into the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy ‘red’ tier' - further easing restrictions in the county. Learn more
